Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Deise Faria Nunes (1974) is an artist-researcher with a special interest in performance, rituals and audiovisual. She is a PhD fellow in the Theatre in Context program at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Agder, Norway, and a documentary film student at Kino-Doc, in Lisbon. Based in the Nordic countries for over 20 years, Nunes has been working since 2004 as a performance artist, dramaturge, artistic producer and writer.
